Kraft Connections
Elisabeth Katharina Kraft was my great, great grandma. We missed each other by 23 years, but I was born in the same state she died, Washington.
Her life was most interesting. Born in Russia, I believe along the Volga river, she married my great, great grandfather Johan Appel in Saratov, Russia. This is the photo of their wedding day.
They later immigrated to the U.S. and settled in the Whitman, Washington area where they farmed for several years. Elisabeth died in Colfax, Washington.
